The Fundamentals of SharePoint Dashboards: Live, Online Workshop

My session at the Virginia Beach SharePoint Saturday had overflow attendance with people lining the walls and sitting on the floor! That just goes to show there is a real interest in the basics of how things work with SharePoint. My presentation was on how to create SharePoint Dashboards in WSS, given the limitation of available web parts.

I will be doing a live online, hands-on workshop on January 20 to let you get your hands dirty if dashboards interest you. This is a “fundamentals” workshop, so you won’t need your coding hat on. All of the resources you need to implement a dashboard in SharePoint will be provided, including:

  • A SharePoint sandbox for each participant
  • Preconfigured web parts for use on your production site
  • Step-by-step documentation for implementing various components of you dashboard
  • Access to the presentation recording after the workshop is completed

Sound interesting? With the budget crunch, I don’t think you are going to find a better value anywhere. For $129.00, you get a live, three hour session and all the resources you need to implement your own team site dashboard.

Testimonials from previous participants:

Mark, you are excellent and so was Dessie. You did an exceptional job of keeping everyone on the same task. The flow of information was perfect, not too overwhelming. This workshop was absolutely worth the time and money. — Tammy

This is an excellent workshop. Mark answered every question and moderated with humor and patience through the usual communication hiccups with an audience that is international (Argentina, Ireland, all over the US). — Betsy

3 hours very, very well spent. Very interesting, well explained, easy to follow, and Mark answered all questions that came up. And getting the code to implement on our own sites, wow! — Joan
