SP Technical Library in Compiled Help format

.chm files… We don’t see too many of them anymore. We’re busy broadening our cross-platform horizons and leaving certain relics in the dust.

However, if I had to pick between my favorite e-book delivery methods, help files beat PDF any day. So, if you need a metric ton of offline content to digest while you’re at the airport, download it here (on your PC) and bask in its glory:

Hi, this doesn’t work when I try to open the file, it displays a ‘navigation to the webpage was canceled’ message – I have Windows Vista – thanks – Nicola

  2. AutoSponge says:

That’s a problem with the format–it happens some times. Here’s a good article about fixing it:

Make sure you download it and save it locally instead of a network/remote drive.

Thanks Autosponge! Followed link and all I had to do was right click the .chm file and select ‘unblock’ from properties menu – works like a charm now!
