EndUserSharePoint.com: Free online workshop – Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards

View more information on Case Studies in SharePoint DashboardsIn the EndUserSharePoint.com Weekly Newsletter yesterday, I announced an online workshop on September 16 for Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards. Within an hour of the newsletter going out, there were 50 registrations. As of today, 24 hours later, there are over 160 people registered for the workshop. There are limited seats because of the type of delivery, so I waited until now to announce to the public. Here’s the run down…

Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards is a live, online demo/workshop to show easy, simple ways to display information in SharePoint (WSS). This is a free, one hour demo/workshop for all subscribers to the EndUserSharePoint.com Weekly Newsletter.  The presentation is useful for managers, site planners, and Information Workers who have to deal with documents, lists and links stored in SharePoint. Site Managers and Site Collection Administrators will gain tips and tricks for implementing some “not so obvious” features of SharePoint when creating dashboards.

I would very much appreciate it if you would post a link or let your team know about the workshop. It should be an exciting hour. I guarantee you will walk away with some new ideas on how to display information using Out-of-the-Box techniques in SharePoint.

Update: A lot of people are interested in KPIs and Excel Services as part of a dashboard. Since these web parts are not included in a WSS implementation, this will not be part of the demo. However, I’ve got a few techniques that will be useful as a substitute.
