Speaking at Baltimore SharePoint Saturday: On what?

SharePoint Saturday, Baltimore, July 25, 2009Eric Harlan, coordinator of SharePoint Saturday in Baltimore, just confirmed that I will be one of the presenters on July 25th. Good news… but now what? What should I talk about?

Here are three topics I think are extremely interesting. Which one would you like to hear me talk about and demo? Leave a comment and then I’ll record my hour long presentation so you’ll get a chance to see it if you can’t attend.

  • 5 Absolutely Bullet Proof Ways to Get End User Buy-in
  • Charts, Graphics and Dynamic Analysis without Excel Services
  • Hack the SharePoint Interface – 9 No Code Solutions

If you haven’t attended a SharePoint Saturday session before, you’re missing out. This is a FREE event, where over 25 SharePoint Experts donate their time to show you what they’ve been working on. You’ll get free training packages, free assessment packages, free netbooks, TONS of books and goodies!

Put a marker on your calendar. Registration opens at 10am on July 13th. I look forward to seeing you there.

I think any of those would be great! I am looking forward to finally meeting you! I just hope our sessions aren’t at the same time.

I do think though that of the 3 sessions, I would prefer to see the Charts, Graphics and Dynamic Analysis without Excel Services!

5 Absolutely Bullet Proof Ways to Get End User Buy-in would be my choice!

I think “9 no-code solutions” sounds like it would give the most take-away benefit to the audience. I assume it might include a taste of the Charting capability, but would also include other things, so overall, this presentation would have more content. Even if each topic would have to be brief, it’s huge to be able to see what’s possible, and the participants can build on that themselves later.
[I had hoped to come to Baltimore to see what a SharePoint Saturday is all about, but that's not working out - shooting for NYC in Sept though.]

Though all 3 are great topics I do feel Charts,Graphics would be a great one. May be you should have a poll here and find out which you should be doing!!

All worthy subjects but I think we need to balance out the comments here :-) I would vote for “5 Absolutely Bullet Proof Ways to Get End User Buy-in”, this subject is by far the most tricky of the 3 and in the grand scheme of things the most important.
