We have a field called Case ID. It is currently a numeric field that includes unsightly comma's. We can't seem to search on Case ID either since it is numeric. We tried to change the field to a single line of text but because we have indexed documents already it won't allow the change. Before we get too far down the path (currently in pilot phase) what is the most effective way to address this situation.
