3 Minute Quick Hit Screencast: Create a Context Sensitive F1 key for your SharePoint Pages

Woody has some really cool stuff in his book on SharePoint Designer. One of the things he talks about is the Web Part Page Services Component (WPSC), a subject that is barely touched in any of the SharePoint literature.

On March 6, he published an article on how to create context sensitive help by pressing the F1 key. This is a short screencast to show the solution in action.

For Site Admin, this three minute solution is an indispensable tool for off loading some of your support questions. Put a note under your contact information (you do have your contact information on the page, right?) that states “Press F1 for help on this page”. Voila…
