Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards – The Sequel

While attending Daan DeBrouckere’s talk on Content Types at the NYC SPUG meeting on Wednesday night, I met Michael Jonesen and Ken Thorkelin from Email-Manager.com. They will be sponsoring the food for my presentation on February 4th at SPUG.

My presentation will be Case Studies in SharePoint Dashboards, the one that had over 550 registrations in September. I’m going to try something new for that presentation. We’re going to push out the event, live, through a screencast. That’s right… anyone in the world will be able to view the February 4th, New York City SharePoint User Group meeting.

Part of this is a self made competition with Joel Oleson. Joel’s online SharePoint event last month was a record breaker: over 2000 registrations. I told him I’m going to go after his record. The kicker is this… there are two levels of ‘tickets’ for the event. You can purchase a $5.00 Guaranteed Seat ticket where I will make sure there is enough bandwidth and seats for you to attend. All net income will be donated back to NYC SPUG for use in producing future, online events.

There is also a SRO (Standing Room Only) ticket that will allow attendance if all Guraranteed Seats aren’t sold.

So, please place the meeting on your calendar. I’ll keep you updated as things progress.

Update: I haven’t even posted this yet, and already there are people signing up for the event. This will be a sellout. Please register as soon as you can.
