I just found out about this site and would have loved to have had all of this information when we on SharePoint 2007. However, we recently converted to SharePoint 2010 and my converted employee training sites are breaking and I can't create new ones. Any plans to release it in 2010? It would be so appreciated!

Someone has ported the fab 40 templates to be usable in Sharepoint 2010. You can find them here.

Thanks but I have checked those out. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. Did anyone else have success with these?
