Trying to implement Easy Tabs (Custom Style) on the AllItems.aspx page for a document library. I have created all the views -- A through Z -- and added multiple copies of the library WP to the page. When I exit edit mode all I do not see the tabs just the individual WPs that represent the individual tabs. I do see what might be part of the tab WP -- all I see is a solid line spanning the WP zone.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Side question... How can I revert the AllItems.aspx back to the default view if this does not work out right. I thought if I deleted all the extra WPs and left one that that would work but the remaining WP does not show the "views" DDL even though I selected full toolbar.

My original problem still stands but I was able to clear up my "side question" using information found on SharePointology (http://www.sharepointology.com/setup/dropdown-to-change-the-view-disappeared/).

The Easy Tabs won't work on AllItems.aspx because SharePoint doesn't display the Web Part title used to build the tabs.
Even if you set the chrome to "Title" or "Title and border", SharePoint won't obey you. Call this a bug?

Christophe -

Thanks for the info. I didn't even consider that when I was trying to troubleshoot. If I understand correctly, even if a WP has a title specified in the settings, it has to be displayed -- via chrome -- in order for the Easy Tabs WP to recognize it.

BTW, I ended up creating a "pages' library and adding a web part page to it.

I found a work around for this. Add an Image Web Part above the Web Part you want a title on. Create the title you want in Paint Brush. Save to your image folder (or wherever) and link the Image Web Part to it. Set the image to be left justified.

Hint: Default SharePoint font for the Web Part title is Tahona 10 pt. Bold.

I used, Christophe's Easy Tabs on a simiar issue. I solved it by creating a Web Part Page and added all my Web Parts to the page as well as the Easy tabs CEWP. Each Web Part I added in this case was a Document Library "All Items" view. This could be changed to any other view by clicking on modify for that particular Web Part
