I am having a problem with my Sharepoint 2010 server. In calendar view on a calendar that has versioning turned on. User who do not have approval rights can see recurring items that have been deleted. If they click on a item to view it they get error message"Item does not exist. Item may have been deleted by another user" This only occurs with recurring items.
