SharePoint is often “unleashed” without proper planning or governance structures, and most administrators find themselves needing to retroactively apply standards across their environment.
I have been reading EndUserSharePoint for several years now and have used many of the articles to solve SharePoint business requirements for my clients.
OK, in the interest of full disclosure I am not a programmer/coder. However, I am in IT and therefore know enough code to make programmers want to bang their head against their desk repeatedly while muttering “Why? Why? Why?” under their breath.
I come across requests that help me really understand the power that SharePoint provides without having to “write code”.
I see the question posted fairly often asking what kind SharePoint team an organization should have.
A lot of people consider me “Mr. EndUserSharePoint.com”, when actually there’s a lot more going on behind the scene that you might not think about. I’d like to take a couple minutes to say thank you to the people that really make this site what it is.
