This Week in SharePoint: Events online and off
I’m teaching on site all this week, so I’m trying to get a handle on who’s doing what when I come home each evening. Here’s the list of events I’ve got for this week.
Please add more to the comments section and I’ll update each evening as they come in.
SharePoint Saturday Tampa, San Antonio, Cleveland, and Melbourne
SharePoint Saturday continues its extremely successful run of events this weekend. If you’re within a two hour driving range of one of these, it’s definitely worth putting on the traveling shoes. (As of this posting, SharePointSaturday.org is down. You can still access a few of the events at the registration pages on EventBrite.)
SharePoint Shop Talk
Paul Galvin, Natalya Voskresenskaya and Laura Rogers continue their weekly live online Q&A session this Thursday at 12:30. You can ask them a question through email (questions@sharepointshoptalk.com), through twitter (@natalyvo) or by calling directly in to the program.
TechEd, Berlin
As if Las Vegas wasn’t enough, Microsoft is running TechEd Berlin this week. Once again, 7000 #ShareHeads are gathering in one place to celebrate the birth of SharePoint 2010. TechEd Online is putting up content from the conference as it becomes available. Here’s a picture of my hero Waldek Mastykarz (on the left) with his friend Matthijs Hoekstra on the TechEx exhibit floor. (Thanks, Joel.)

SharePoint Charts and Graphs: Part 01
Paul Grenier and I will be leading a live online workshop, SharePoint Charts and Graphs: Part 01, this Friday at 1:00pm EST. The limitations for displaying charts and graphs in a WSS site can be daunting. At least in MOSS, there are Excel Services available. In this live online, hands-on workshop, we will go over various solutions for providing dynamically generated charts and graphs in a WSS or MOSS implementation.
Here’s a short screencast demoing one of the solutions in the workshop:
