Manage Input with Dynamic Feedback Forms in SharePoint (Screencast)

Join Laura on October 30th as she presents “Manage Input with Dynamic Feedback Forms in SharePoint“.

Looking for feedback from your end users, or questions from them about your department or company? In this workshop, Laura Rogers will teach you a no-code approach to this business solution.

Using SharePoint Designer and your very own WSS sandbox, you will learn how to create a data view web part that will be placed on the welcome page for your site, which will allow end users to type in and submit feedback immediately. Again, this approach uses absolutely no code, and requires no programming skills. This solution is applicable in WSS and/or MOSS environments.

Will this course include how to automatically email reply the end user who submitted the feedback?
Also, is this solution available for internet facing sites with anonymous users?
    Thanks

  2. Laura says:

    Ron,
    1. Sure, we can add that in at the end.
    2. Yes, but the part about emailing them back wouldn’t be able to be done if they were anonymous.

  3. Ron Knapp says:

Thanks for reply Laura, in #2 I didnt include that there would be a user-filled field for Email Address, that would be used to send the follow-up email.

If I attended this course is there written step-by-step instruction on how to do this? I can’t open the archive view cast from work.

This was very informative as all the classes I attended. Laura is the ‘Queen’ DVWP and SPD. Just would like to know if we will be able to review the course because I still can’t get my forms to work. Mark will we get a message like the other courses? Was wondering if you may think about the ‘Anonymous’ forms class. As I mentioned, I work in a military hospital and get ask this question. Thanks again and hope to attend more classes. Frank

  6. Frank – This was sent out right after the workshop, but I’ll make sure you get another copy. — Mark

    Laura,
I have a question, “Is there any way to get screen shots of how to create the form?” I attended the workshop but lost my information. I checked your blog but could not find it. Hope you can help. Thanks, Frank
