Is it possible to show contents(like a list collecting contents from different lists) from different subsites, even if the user has permissions only to one of them and to the site where the merged content is shown?

Thanks a billion Laura! I’ve been trying to get a “last updated documents” with document library info to work for ages (on and off) and now I got it. Just have to figure out how to make this webpart work in other sites as well. It apparently works only on the site I’ve created the webpart in. Ideas?
