Michael Sampson, Seamless Teamwork, Presentation Available for Viewing

Michael Sampson and I have completed the first session of the Seamless Teamwork Study Group. As stated in a previous post, we were overwhelmed with the number of registrations for this event, so we decided to record it and make it available for everyone. I had about a half dozen people email me who did not get the cancellation notice. In some instances, my email response was marked as spam and there was no way for me to contact you.

My sincere apology for the inconvenience of not being able to attend a live session, but we will have it worked out by next week.

You can view and listen to the recording here: First Session of Live, Online SharePoint Study Group . We look forward to your feedback and participation in the study group.

We will definitely get the kinks worked out. Thanks for hanging in there. — Mark

Mark/Michael, great discussion, it really summed up what this site is all about. I’m looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Having read (and enjoyed!) the book I feel I know what is in store. The value in this group is going to see what alternative ideas and approaches come from the participants the story that is written in “Seamless Teamwork”

Mark, I had no problem with listening and watching this rather than actively participating. Looking forward to seeing how the blogging idea might look.

Looking forward to these webinars and receiving Michael’s book which I have ordered today!

I am another New Zealander (now based in Australia) and am working on a global multi-lingual MOSS site. I totally relate to all that was said in this presentation and the way Michael has written the book.

I have worked with the web and intranets for 15 years and I have always positioned myself as the “person in the middle” between business and IT to get the best outcomes when designing and delivering web solutions that are user friendly and easily supported within the business and IT.

I may not be able to attend the live sessions with the time differences, but will most certainly be reviewing the recordings.

    Thanks again
    Judy

  3. Mick and Judy,

Thanks for the input. Because of the popularity of this series of Study Group sessions, Michael and I are rethinking the delivery process.

We think it is essential to make the recordings available to as many people as possible. Michael will be writing an article that will explain the new process, but I think you will be very happy with what you hear.

Keep an eye on the site.
    Mark

  4. Hey Mick … yes, I too am looking forward to hearing new and different ideas.

Judy … good to hear a bit about your work and role. Looking forward to working with you during this process.

Your ‘First Session of Live, Online SharePoint Study Group’ link is broken

  6. Hi Anthony – I just checked and the link is working. Please confirm with your IT department that WebEx presentations are not blocked. — Mark

  7. Mike Bunyan says:

Access requires active X installation and may not work for firefox users. Try MSIE

  8. Laurie says:

Thanks heaps Mike. I was using Chrome and naturally it didn’t work. Now I will buy the book. EndUserSharePoint, You need to make this requirement more obvious for the WebEx dummies like me.

  9. Laurie – You are correct. I’ll make it more apparent in the next announcements. — Mark
