High Priority, Deal Breaking Issues

When working on a project, is everything a ‘deal breaker’ that must be done right now? For the person requesting the scope change or addition to the spec, it probably feels that way, but in reality, for the general well being of the project, it probably isn’t. High Priority issues are real deal breakers: if this doesn’t get done NOW, the project stops. That’s a deal breaker.

As I take my morning walks along the West Site Highway in New York City, I am continuously reminded of the direct correlation between Building Architecture and Information Architecture in SharePoint. I’m in the process of writing a white paper on it, but this morning I decided to take my camera with me and do a quick segment on how contractors deal with issues during building construction.

In the short video here, check out how a general contractor handles basic issues in a project.
